Johnny is the Founder and Managing Partner of J9 Partners. He is a frequent guest speaker at the local accelerators and incubators and a formal advisor to a select group of startups. In Austin, he is an active supporter of the Austin Humane Society where J9 Partners participates in the Adopt-A-Kennel program.
Johnny spent the first ten years of his career in the Private Wealth Management Division of Morgan Stanley in New York City. "PWM" is a boutique division exclusively serving clients with a minimum of $20 million in liquid assets. He spent the first three years as a Financial Analyst on a team managing over $1 billion in client assets and at age 28 became the youngest Private Wealth Advisor in the country.
In New York, Johnny created and chaired Junior Boards for Student Sponsor Partners and the Waterside School. He was awarded a John C. Whitehead Fellowship at the Foreign Policy Association and was elected to the Greensward Circle and Young Leadership Committee of the Central Park Conservancy.
Johnny earned a BA from Williams College, where he played varsity football and lacrosse. Senior year, he was named a Division III Pre-season All-American in football.
